Walid Joseph Tamari represents businesses and business owners throughout the United States and internationally.  He has built his practice on relationships and results.  His attention to detail and sound counsel has resulted in Chicago’s varied and influential clientele seeking his advice.  Firm clients include several publicly traded companies.  

Walid represents businesses in commercial breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition and business tort litigation. He also counsels businesses on formation, maintenance and transactional issues.

He is chairperson of the Commercial Law League of America's Complex Commercial Litigation Committee and is a member of several committees within the Chicago and American Bar Associations.  A frequent lecturer, Mr. Tamari also teaches entrepreneurship law at Loyola University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.

 

Walid has appeared on CBS News, NBC News and WGN News and has been quoted in Crain’s Chicago Business, Forbes On-line and the Chicago Tribune for litigation for which he was responsible.  His fellow attorneys have also recognized Walid for his professional ability and outstanding ethics. 

Walid is committed to giving back.  He co-founded the firm’s charitable committee to help provide recreational and educational literacy opportunities for at-risk boys and girls.  The committee’s purpose is to help abandoned, abused and underprivileged children who are deprived of essential options in life.
