His career spanning more than thirty-five years, Thomas J. Keevers graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 1972 and has since devoted his practice primarily to work in the court room. His trial experience cuts across a broad spectrum of litigation, including business law, products liability, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, construction accident, landlord-tenant, and contested probate cases. He is a chair-qualified panelist with the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration System.
Tom is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and is especially active with the Chicago Bar Association, having chaired the CBA's Tort Litigation Committee. He has frequently lectured at seminars sponsored by the CBA and the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and is the author of an IICLE handbook chapter, "Defending the Civil Suit."
He was trained as an instructor with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and taught seminars on trial technique. He is also a
critically-acclaimed mystery writer.
